The Events Co-ordinating Group would like to thank everyone for their help and support at the following recent events: May 9 th - Ravenswood Singers concert - £439.15 was raised. Church Social Events May 16 th Pie and Peas and Quiz night -this was not a fundraising event but a thank you to St.Paul's for their hospitality during St.James's renovations. A great time was had by all. June 6 th - The 'Keep it Local' coffee morning was a new initiative for us in line with the Northumberland Gazette's campaign. In the end seven local traders set up stalls in the hall that morning as well as HospiceCare North Northumberland and Save the Children. We hope that everyone enjoyed and benefited from the occasion - the , approximately £177.00 was raised. Forthcoming events to look out for: Summer Sizzle Sunday July19th, Organ Recital at St.James's date not confirmed yet and End of the Pier Show in October. August Is Your Favourite Hymn Month Yes, it's back! For 4 of the 5 Sundays in August you decide the hymns! Just fill in your favourite and put it in the box on the table. If you have a specific tune for your choice, please include it on your request. Guide Coffee Evening Wednesday 1 st July 6.15 - 7.15 in the Hall with a variety of stalls Everyone is welcome. in aid of the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) A social get together for 0 - 90years plus. Come along and join other members of our church and have a good chin-wag or just have a walk. It is free, not even a raffle to spend your money on! All we ask is bring your own picnic or Bar-B-Que (including a Barby to cook it on) plus something to sit on, chairs or blankets. Lee Moor Farm is in a lovely setting within a conservation area so hopefully plenty of wild life to see.
