3 times per year.<br />

Training: Free, 30 hour training course. The curriculum<br />

is from National CASA, the nation-wide standard in<br />

child advocacy. Training provides a solid background<br />

for the participants about child advocacy.<br />

and central registry (DSS) background checks. They<br />

must provide personal references, and complete the<br />

training and interview process. These are done at no<br />

charge to the volunteer.<br />
