Using the combination of a PIAB vacuum conveyor and a Schenck AccuRate
MECHATRON® feeder allows processors to easily convey and feed moderately
to free flowing materials for food, chemical, and pharmaceutical applications.

gravimetric feeder and a PIAB
vacuum conveyor accuracies
are greatly improved and
refi ll consistencies are better
maintained by removing the
human element in the fi lling
process. Gravimetric feeding
accuracies of ± ¼% to
1% of feed rate set point at 2
sigma are achievable with the
system. Volumetric confi gurations
are also available.

gravimetric feeder and a PIAB vacuum conveyor include the
ability to disassemble and clean both the MECHATRON® feeder
and PIAB loader in a matter of minutes. This makes it easy for
operators to change materials or perform regular maintenance
saving time and production costs.
Due to the intrinsic nature of using air to convey dry
materials results in the reduced risk of explosion thus creating a
safety benefi t for system operators. Other features include easy
installation, reduced fl oor space requirements, and the ability to
convey materials up to 65 feet away.
