There are a lot of ultra-light tackle rods
that are made like noodles (there are
noodle rods for your info.), however,
the Lust is not one of them. The blank
is designed with a butt section using
graphite with a high carbon content
giving it stiffness and power while the
tip is graphite with higher glass fibre
content for its whippy sexiness (slow
action).
Such a system allows for great amounts
of absorption should the hard fighting,
bait stealing, finned monster decides
to drop gear and engage turbo, allowing
time for the line and reel to coordinate
reducing the chances of breakage.
