COLO. REV. STAT. § 16-22-110 (West 2010)<br />

(2) The sex <strong>of</strong>fender registry shall provide, at a minimum, the following information to all criminal justice agencies<br />

with regard to registered persons:<br />

(a) Identification <strong>of</strong> a person's registration status;<br />

(b) A person's date <strong>of</strong> birth;<br />

(c) Descriptions <strong>of</strong> the <strong>of</strong>fenses <strong>of</strong> unlawful sexual behavior <strong>of</strong> which a person has been convicted;<br />

(d) Identification <strong>of</strong> persons who are identified as sexually violent predators;<br />

(f) Specification <strong>of</strong> modus operandi information concerning any person who is required to register<br />

(3)(a) In addition to the sex <strong>of</strong>fender registry, the CBI shall maintain one or more interactive data base systems to<br />

provide, at a minimum, cross validation <strong>of</strong> a registrant's known names and known addresses with information<br />

maintained by the department <strong>of</strong> revenue concerning driver's licenses and identification cards issued under article 2<br />

<strong>of</strong> title 42, C.R.S. Discrepancies between the known names or known addresses listed in the sex <strong>of</strong>fender registry<br />

and information maintained by the department <strong>of</strong> revenue shall be reported through the Colorado crime information<br />

center to each local law enforcement agency that has jurisdiction over the location <strong>of</strong> the person's last-known<br />

residences.<br />

COLO. REV. STAT. § 16-22-111 (West 2010)<br />

(1): The CBI shall post a link on the state <strong>of</strong> Colorado homepage on the internet to a list containing the:<br />

Names,<br />

Addresses, and<br />

Physical descriptions <strong>of</strong> certain persons and descriptions <strong>of</strong> the <strong>of</strong>fenses committed by said persons.<br />

o A person’s physical description shall include, but need not be limited to, the person’s sex, height<br />

and weight, any identifying characteristics <strong>of</strong> the person, and a digitized photograph or image <strong>of</strong> the<br />

person.<br />

o The list shall specifically exclude any reference to any victims <strong>of</strong> the <strong>of</strong>fenses.<br />

** Denotes those states where sex <strong>of</strong>fender registration is required for convictions under the staff sexual misconduct laws <strong>of</strong> the states. Staff and<br />

inmates could also be required to register as sex <strong>of</strong>fenders if the <strong>of</strong>fense were charged under other registrable <strong>of</strong>fenses.<br />
