STUDENTS:<br />
1. The Board of Education approve the following out of district special education placements<br />
for the 2006-2007 school year:<br />
a. One Student Placement: School for Children<br />
Effective: 2006-2007 school year<br />
Tuition: $42,548.00<br />
2. The Board of Education approves a trip for McAuliffe Middle School students to<br />
participate in the “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk-A-Thon” on Sunday,<br />
October 15, 2006 in Point Pleasant Beach, cost to the Board being transportation to and<br />
from the event.<br />
3. The Board of Education approves the Fall 2006 Athletic Schedules for Jackson Liberty<br />
High School, Jackson Memorial High School, Carl W. Goetz Middle School and Christa<br />
McAuliffe Middle School.<br />
4. The Board of Education approves a trip for the Jackson Memorial High School and Jackson<br />
Liberty High School Girls’ Cross County Teams to the Walt Disney World Cross Country<br />
Classic in Orlando, Florida, October 5-9, 2006, cost to the Board being bus transportation to<br />
and from Newark Liberty Airport and race entry fees.<br />
5. The Board of Education approves educational field trips as filed with the Transportation<br />
Administrator.<br />
PERSONNEL:<br />
1. The Board of Education approves the employment of the following substitutes for the 2006-<br />
2007 school year, effective September 1, 2006, unless otherwise noted:<br />
Rehire:<br />
a. Colleen Hand, Paraprofessional, $8.00 per hour<br />
b. Colleen Hand, Teacher, $70.00 per day<br />
