2. The Board of Education accepts the findings of the Monitoring Report conducted by the
Ocean County Superintendent of Schools and staff on January 8, 2007 recommending
certification of the Jackson School District for a period of seven years and makes such
report available for public review.
3. The Board of Education approves the Professional Development Plan for the 2007-2008
school year as approved by the County Professional Development Office.
4. The Board of Education designates Mr. Michael Baldwin as the Integrated Pest
Management Coordinator for the 2006-2007 school year.
5. The Board of Education approves application for New Jersey Reading First Grant funds for
FY 2007 in the amount of $599,108.00, starting on July 1, 2007 and ending on June 30,
2008.
6. The Board of Education approves the application to be lead agent in a consortium for the
Governor’s Initiative Grant on Enhancing and Expanding In-district Program Options for
Students with Disabilities in the amount of $500,000 to begin June 1, 2007 and end
June 30, 2009.
7. The Board of Education approves the application for No Child Left Behind Act Title III
funds for fiscal year 2007 in the revised amount of $19,738.00.
8. The Board of Education approves the application for the OceanFirst Foundation Grant in the
amount of $25,000.00 to begin October 1, 2007 and end June, 2008.
