This course follows the NABCEP Entry Level Learning<br />

Objectives in order while at the same time covers every<br />

task in the NABCEP PV Installer Job Task Analysis<br />

(JTA). Additionally, there is a good deal <strong>of</strong> hands-on<br />

PV Installation. Also, we will connect to and feed the<br />

Course Title: Solar Photovoltaic Entry-<strong>level</strong><br />

Technician Training<br />

This training program is designed to introduce the<br />

prospective students to the international photovoltaic<br />

market, which has been growing at more than 30% each<br />

year. We provide a modern, interesting approach to<br />

learning by mixing hands-on classroom participation,<br />

self-directed e-learning online, field trips, and real-world<br />

labs that fit the needs <strong>of</strong> today’s busy students.<br />

Successful participants will have been provided the<br />

in<strong>for</strong>mation necessary on safety & electricity basics,<br />

solar energy & PV module fundamentals such as wiring,<br />

inverter, & panel mounting techniques, as well as<br />

components and system sizing. We also provide<br />

necessary concepts in site surveying, grid-tie and <strong>of</strong>fgrid<br />

installations, electrical and mechanical design, and<br />

instruct the student in system per<strong>for</strong>mance analysis and<br />
