A 2-day High School Student Council Officers and Advisers Conference will be<br />
sponsored by YMCA of Negros Oriental in coordination with the <strong>DepEd</strong><br />
divisions in Negros Oriental on October 29 — 30, 2012 at the YMCA Guest<br />
Howse & Development Center, Dumaguete city. The Conference theme is<br />
"Youth Action on Disaster Risk Reduction and Management".<br />
The Conference which will start on Day I at 9:00am and end on Day 2 at<br />
4:00pm, is designed primarily for the leadership enhancement of the Teacher<br />
In-charge/Advisers and the Students Council Officers with the end in view of<br />
capacitating them to effectively lead their respective Student Councils and<br />
actually involved in current and pressing issues of our community.<br />
Enclosed please find copy of the Training Program and Registration Forms for<br />
your perusal. The Registration Fee is P475.00 (covers hand-outs, snacks and<br />
certificates) plus P25.00 for YMCA Membership. Out-of-town participants will<br />
be provided free lodging accommodation at the YMCA Guest House. However,<br />
meals for the duration of the conference will be the participant's responsibility.<br />
For effective coordination and support, may we request your office to please<br />
endorse the participation of the high schools in public and private schools in the<br />
Province of Negros Oriental and help disseminate said endorsement in your<br />
Division.<br />
