7 <strong>GPE</strong>-<strong>Program</strong><br />

7.1 Basics<br />

<strong>The</strong> <strong>GPE</strong>-program is structured in five module groups, each consisting <strong>of</strong> at least two<br />

modules as to be seen it in the table below. For each module a student can get credits. In a<br />

total you need 90 credit points. You should not take more courses than 90 credit points.<br />

You have to choose courses with a total <strong>of</strong> 90 credits ("LP") out <strong>of</strong> the modules in the first<br />

three semesters, do an internship <strong>of</strong> 9 weeks (12 LP) during the semester break or in the<br />

fourth semester and write a master thesis (18 LP) in the fourth semester.<br />

You have to complete at least 12 LP out <strong>of</strong> the module groups A, B, C, and D, and at least 6<br />

LP out <strong>of</strong> group E (total: 54 LP). You can decide on your own which module out <strong>of</strong> the group<br />

you want to complete. 36 LP have to be chosen out <strong>of</strong> all the other modules (e.g. to choose<br />

more than one module out <strong>of</strong> "<strong>Production</strong>") to gain 90 LP total. Please consider that you<br />

should not take more courses than 90 credit points for which you have paid with your fees.<br />
