Full Program Approval Status<br />
The Louisiana Board of Regents granted full program approval<br />
to SUNO’s B.A. in Child Development and Family<br />
Studies and the M.A. in Museum Studies programs during<br />
the year in view. The two programs were removed from<br />
conditionally approved to full approval category as a result<br />
of satisfactory annual reports that have been submitted by<br />
SUNO. Dr. Pamela Wanga and Dr. Sara Hollis, the respective<br />
directors of the programs, spearheaded the effort.<br />
Certification-Only Program<br />
SUNO’s Certification-Only Programs in Early Childhood<br />
and Elementary Education were approved by the Board of<br />
Regents on June 24, 20<strong>10</strong>, and began officially on July 1,<br />
20<strong>10</strong>. The programs have replaced the Non-Master/<br />
Certification Only Alternate Programs, as mandated by the<br />
Board of Regents.<br />
