Winter is well and truly here...<br />
….and along with cold winds and frosty mornings, it also brings about renewal time. The renewal<br />
forms for <strong>2009</strong>/2010 are on our website to be downloaded at your leisure, and should be completed,<br />
with waiver form (for all members for family memberships), and payment by 1st July, to<br />
ensure your continued membership. Please email Robyn Walsh at robyn.walsh@pacific.net.au if<br />
you need to confirm your membership status.<br />
July Competition<br />
Our Official/Associate competition is drawing nearer, due to be held at White Park, Scone on the<br />
weekend of the 4th and 5th July. The program and entry forms are already on our website to be<br />
downloaded. Please get your entries in early to help with planning for this event.<br />
A working bee will take place Friday 10am 3rd July to prepare the arenas and shed areas for this<br />
event. Your attendance at this working bee would be greatly appreciated.<br />

Just a reminder that <strong>Equestrian</strong> Australia has launched new dressage tests from Prelim to Advanced,<br />
to become effective from 1 July <strong>2009</strong>. You can download the tests from the EA website<br />
(www.equestrian.org.au) under the <strong>Dressage</strong> News section. Explanatory notes are also available<br />
in the same section.<br />

Members Days News<br />
The next members day will be held at White Park, Scone Sunday 28th <strong>June</strong>. An entry form is included<br />
in this newsletter, so please send thru to Robyn Walsh. As Robyn is not attending on the<br />
day, please assist where you can to ensure the day runs smoothly for all involved. If you are able<br />
to help run the day, Robyn would love to hear from you on 6545 9629.<br />
Note that the new tests will be used at this members day which will provide a good opportunity<br />
to have a practice run before the Official/Associate Championships the next weekend.<br />
You’ll notice below we also have some dates already booked for next year. Don’t forget to add<br />
them to your calendar so you can plan your outings in advance.<br />

Conditions of Entry<br />
Please refer to the DPI website: www.dpi.nsw.gov.au for current requirements<br />
1. Riders must be a member of <strong>Upper</strong> <strong>Hunter</strong> <strong>Dressage</strong> <strong>Association</strong><br />
2. One rider per horse<br />
3. Max of 2 consecutive levels per horse<br />
4. Max. of 4 tests per rider<br />
5. Entry fee is $5.00 per test<br />
6. Safety standard helmets and riding boots must be worn. Clothes type is optional.<br />
7. The UHDA Inc will not be held responsible for any accident, injury or damage<br />
incurred to any horse, rider or equipment.<br />
8. Juniors are under 18 years on the day of the competition.<br />
Please bring a plate of food to share at lunchtime.<br />
