Dorset Show, 6th May 2012 Luck was with us, as after lots of rain the show had dry weather even if it didn’t feel much like May. Entries were up on last year with 10 in the In Hand mares class. Again there were more in the In Hand classes than the Ridden classes. Disappointing was that having decided to add 2 Working Hunter classes to the show I received 1 entry so had to cancel the classes. However I did some research on the day & it seems Dressage would be more popular for next year. Thanks go to our judge Mrs Jane Upton and the many helpers Georgina & Janet Blair, Nicky & Georgia Purton, Katharine Webb, Linda Skakich & not forgetting my OH Steve who gave up their Sunday to make the show go well. The date for next year’s show is Sunday 5th May 2013 so please put the date in your diaries and details will be on the website in the New Year.
