Into the wind we knew this could be a really tough one as they would throw everything at us. We were superb and
played arguably our best qtr for the year kicking 5.6 into the wind to 3 points. Ben Way had a great quarter, Tucks
continued to produce up forward and with Anthony Lewis controlling the rucks after we lost Fraser Pinkney five minutes
into the second term we looked good.
In the last we just kept running and raced away to probably our best win in the past two or three seasons I am told by
some players. A great credit to every player on the field as every player did his bit.
We are starting to play the type of football we have been training hard to implement and this will only develop further
as we mature more as a group and individually by playing more together, getting to know each other better and the
players themselves gain even more confidence in the game plan, their team mates and themselves.
There will be hiccups along the way no doubt but the improvement has been excellent as everyone who was there yesterday
will attest to.
PHOS-Camden, now sitting second, will be a real test for us this week but as I have said to the players we have nothing
to lose, believe in what we are doing, back yourself, back your mate, have a go, take some chances and enjoy!
