INFORMATION SOUGHT IN ARMED ROBBERY<br />
Polk County Sheriff ’s Office detectives<br />
are seeking the public’s help in a business<br />
robbery.<br />
At approxim<strong>at</strong>ely 7:00 a.m., on Monday,<br />
October 18, 2010, an<br />
armed black male wearing<br />
a mask confronted a delivery<br />
driver outside of Dino’s<br />
Drive-Thru restaurant,<br />
2929 Havendale Boulevard,<br />
Winter Haven, and<br />
then ordered him inside.<br />
Once inside, the<br />
suspect ordered the driver to the ground<br />
and then, still armed with a handgun,<br />
confronted the business owners and<br />
demanded money. Fearing for their safety,<br />
the victims complied and the suspect fled<br />
the business through the rear door in a<br />
northeast direction.<br />
The suspect is<br />
described as being approxim<strong>at</strong>ely<br />
5’5” tall and<br />
weighing approxim<strong>at</strong>ely<br />
135 pounds. He was wearing<br />
a blue pullover hooded<br />
swe<strong>at</strong>shirt, blue jeans, and<br />
white tennis shoes. He<br />
wore a mask on his face.<br />
