Rummage on the River<br />
The Rummage On The River Committee is pleased to announce that we have a location!<br />
Todd Shopping Center<br />

We owe many thanks to Mr. Freeman, Sr., and Sustainer<br />
Susan Bryant, as well as to Tower Property Management,<br />
for their generous support <strong>of</strong> our event.<br />
Mark your calendars: October 14 is the Rummage<br />
on the River Preview Sale and Party, 6-10pm.<br />
Tickets will be $25 per person, and will include food,<br />
drinks and entertainment! You will also have the first<br />
opportunity to shop from the variety <strong>of</strong> merchandise.<br />
We will have a Live Auction for several premium<br />
rummage items that you will not want to miss! Be<br />
sure to bring one item for ‘The Rummage <strong>Roads</strong>how’<br />
portion <strong>of</strong> the evening and find out from a Pr<strong>of</strong>essional<br />
Appraiser if it is a treasure or trash.<br />
The BIG day: October 15 is the Rummage on the River! The doors<br />
will open to the ‘Early Bird’ Shoppers from 7-8 am for a special shopping<br />
opportunity. Entry fee is either for a $5 donation, or 6 non-perishable<br />
un-expired items for the Foodbank. At 8 am (no entry fee charged) the<br />
mad shopping rush will begin, and continue until late in the afternoon<br />
when we will finish with a $5 Bag Sale.<br />
An exciting new outreach component <strong>of</strong> Rummage<br />
on the River is Community Gift Cards. The gift cards<br />
will be distributed to members <strong>of</strong> our community<br />
who have a need: our Riverside Cancer Center<br />
patients, residents <strong>of</strong> Menchville House, Natasha<br />
House, and others. The cards will allow the<br />
recipient to come and shop at Rummage and<br />
use the gift card for their purchases. We are<br />
seeking monetary donations from JLHR members,<br />
sustainers, businesses and other donors to help as<br />
many people as we can! Sponsorships are available<br />
in $25 increments...sponsor one, two, ten or more. If you<br />
are interested in sponsoring gift cards or know someone who<br />
would be, please contact Suzi or Susan.<br />
We will accept donated goods until October 5! We have many<br />
other exciting plans for this event, so we hope to see you at<br />
Rummage on the River in October!<br />
