With the liberalisation of the production, transfer and distribution of electrical energy in addition to the dynamic campaign to have Renewable Energy Sources (RES) play an important role in energy production, our country finds itself at the centre of important developmental opportunities. The INTRAKAT group is active in the area of Renewable Energy Sources offering integrated solutions for the design, installation and maintenance of photovoltaic systems and wind farms. Photovoltaic projects In the photovoltaic park sector INTRAKAT acts through its subsidiary company ΙΝΤRAPOWER, which specialises in the construction of turnkey photovoltaic parks, having secured strategic alliances with recognised brand name equipment manufacturers. Applying the Groups’ many years of experience and know-how in the execution of complex highly demanding technical projects, the company offers complete photovoltaic systems solutions supplying a wide range of specialised services which include: Acquisition and management of licences Planning and design of turnkey photovoltaic installations in greenfield sites and on buildings Selection and supply of materials and systems Construction and installation of materials and systems Project management Personnel training Systems support (maintenance, technical support, upgrades) The company undertakes the construction of small (2–100kW), medium (100kW–1MW) and large scale (>1ΜW) systems, with direct connection to the main energy transmission and distribution network, as well as fixed and mobile (AOSS) stand-alone systems for industrial, agrarian, domestic and defense applications. > Wind farms Wind energy plays a leading role in the development of RES and presents a significant investment potential in Greece. The country’s exceptionally high wind resource potential places her among the most attractive in Europe. Further penetration into this particular sector is a strategic goal of the INTRAKAT Group.
