The INTRAKAT group with the goal of constant improvement is developing procedures relating both to its internal

“SYNERGIA” Council for the use of Waste Energy
INTRAKAT, investing in documented scientific
knowledge, is a sponsor of the Council for the
use of Waste Energy SYNERGIA. SYNERGIA is a
scientific and research council, a subsidiary of
the corresponding council set up by Columbia
University, New York. Its members include
professors from most Greek universities, from
international universities and CEWEP.
SYNERGIA focuses on waste utilization for energy
recovery, with the aim of developing research
programmes and providing valid scientific
information to the society as a whole, whilst also
having the required personnel for monitoring the
environmental impact of waste to energy plants.
