It indicates a balanced approach to the economic, social and environmental impact of a business’s operations and is based on the triptych of economic growth, sustainability and social cohesion. The European Union defines corporate social responsibility as “the concept whereby companies integrate social and environmental concerns on a voluntary basis into their business operations and in their interaction with other interested parties”.

Its members include professors from most Greek universities, from international universities and CEWEP.
