Viking Festival Demo July 16-17 Heronter Calling all Vikings! It's time once again to set up our Viking Village at the Annual Jamestown Scandinavian Folk Festival. We would love to have as many people as possible join us in celebrating all things Viking! Date: July 16-18, 2010 Festival Hours: Friday 3:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM and Sunday 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM We have permission to camp overnights. The site is discreetly damp, above ground fires are permitted. Licensed pets on leashes are permitted. Summer’s End: The Dozynki Festival September 11, 2010 Canton of Beau Fleuve (Niagara Falls, NY) Come celebrate Dozynki (doh-sheen-key) with us! A traditional Polish harvest festival, Dozynki lets us revel in the fruits of our labor, whatever craft it may be - metal, wood, textile, food or the martial skills. With all your efforts to make our Kingdom prosperous and proud, you deserve to celebrate your works and efforts! The event will be a day filled with Heavy Weapons, Food, Fencing, Thrown Weapons, Food, Arts and Sciences and of course a chance to catch up with old friends and meet new ones before the Ice Dragon awakens from her Summer slumber. We are also fortunate to once again host the Thrown Weapons Seven Pearls Tournament. Side board will be provided as a pot luck. If you are interested in bringing a dish to share, please contact the Autocrat. This years feast will bring us the delectable dish prepared by none other than Druegar Mensch. The site is discreetly damp. Summer’s End will be held September 11, 2010 . The event is taking place at its usual home, St. John de la Salle, 8469 Buffalo Ave., Niagara Falls, NY 14304. Site Fees: $17 for on board, or just $8 for off and out board. Children ages 17 to 6 are $14 on board and $6 off board. Children 5 and under are free. We will be collection a NMS of $5.00 from anyone not carrying proof of SCA membership To ensure you're on board space make your reservations as soon as possible. Site opens at 10 am and closes at 11 pm.
