PRACTICAL PSYCHOLOGY
This eight week (20 hour) course aimed to introduce participants to some practical
application of psychological study to the area of education.
Content included:
‣ Psychology in Education
‣ The Behaviourist approach
‣ The Cognitive approach
‣ Psychometric testing
‣ The RepGrid and Grid analysis –usefulness
‣ The Physiological approach
‣ The Psychodynamic approach
‣ Client-centred therapy
‣ Personal Construct Theory and Ed.
