A day in Mount St. Anne’s exploring discipleship
and ministry with keynote Speaker Sr. Brid Liston
and individual workshops for readers, ministers
of Holy Communion, Art & Environment Groups,
John Paul II co-ordinators and Music Directors.
(The latter group will look to music for Episcopal
Ordination). The day will begin at 10 and
conclude at 4pm. Bookings through Faith

MOUNT ST. ANNE’S, KILLENARD
Introduction to Aromatherapy Sat. 25 th May
from 10am – 5pm. A one day introduction to
aromatherapy will include hand massage, guided
relaxation & seated neck & shoulder massage.
Cost: €40 (includes essential oil to make your
own blend to take away with you). Facilitated by
Shirley McClure. Please bring packed lunch.
Tea/Coffee provided.
Meditation Day Sat.15th June from 10am –
4.30pm. Spend a day in the beautiful surrounds
of Mount St. Anne’s, relaxing the mind & freeing
yourself from anxiety & stress. Facilitated by Sr.

Official Opening
Emo GAA are pleased to announce the official
opening of the new pitch. The opening will take
place on Fri. 17 th May commencing at 6.15pm
followed by a BBQ and some light entertainment.
Laois Senior Footballers will then take on Cork in
a challenge game on the new pitch at 7.30pm,
and there will also be half time matches from the
local St. Paul’s juvenile boys and girls teams.
Emo GAA wish to invite past and present
members of our club, as well as extending the
invitation to all communities to come and join in
our celebrations. A great evening is assured.
Development Draw Results

Laois All County Draw Results
1st prize €10,000 The Kennedy Family, St.
Lazerians Abbeyleix Club. Emo GAA had two
winners in this month’s draw. €500 each to:
John Strong & Brian Byrne. Again the club
would like to extend their gratitude to all who
bought tickets.
Get Fit with Emo G.A.A.
Fitness instructor and local man James Bastick is
going to run a Fitness Programme starting in
Emo GAA grounds this coming Tuesday next,
14 th May at 8pm. James will be there to show
and tell you what kind of fitness programme you
should be doing and workout what kind
of circuit training suits you. Cost €2 per night. All
adults welcome to join.
Emo G.A.A. Summer Camp
Football Summer Camp taking place Monday -
Friday July 15 th to 19 th from 10am -2.30pm every
day. €30 for 1 child / €50 for 2 children and €65
per family. Boys and Girls from U.6 to U.16. A
different Laois player will be attending each day.

It's the annual 5K @ Courtwood in County Laois,

Many thanks to everyone who supported the
recent Coffee Morning for Daffodil Day
which was held in No. 57 Boutique, Main
Street. Despite the bad weather on the day
€500 was collected. All proceeds go to the
Irish Cancer Society.
