On Wed. June 9, 2010, the students in the Intermediate class went to Victor and Susan Barlow’s shop, The Scottish Highland Creamery, for a field trip. They learned about the ingredients in ice cream and how to make it. Victor then let the students join him in making Cookies and Cream ice cream with the students taking turns adding cookies to the ice cream. Of course, the learning experience involved sampling the product. From left, Edward B., Tucker H., Nick B., and Carey M. look as though they know what they like in a field trip.
