Congratulations and our thanks to them for enriching our lives. For decades, The Heckscher Museum of Art has focused on inspiring the people of Long Island with acclaimed exhibitions and educational offerings. I am proud to be part of an organization that is dedicated to providing a deep understanding of the visual arts. Tonight, we celebrate this legacy by returning to the era where it all began. I want to thank members of the Gala Committee who tirelessly volunteered their time and enthusiasm to insure the success of this evening. I would especially like to thank Margy Hargraves, Erik Neil, Matt Campo, and the Development Department for their commitment.
