TCA RTD SENSORS Resistance Temperature Detectors ( RTD ) offer the highest standard of accuracy and stability of any temperature sensor over the range –200 to 650 °C . The standard type used is Platinum PT 100 ohm with PT 500 and PT 1000 Ohm sensors available for special purpose use. Standard PT100 Ω @ 0°C As per DIN 43760, IEC 60751 Alpha Value 0.003850. This is the nominal value of Resistance at 0 Deg C and the elements are available in different tolerances. Class B = +/- 0.3 °C @ 0 °C ; Class A = +/- 0.15 °C @ 0 °C; 1/10th DIN = +/- 0.03 °C @ 0 °C. TEGO RANGE Plug in Temperature Sensors A range of temperature sensors that can be plugged in using off the shelf DIN style connectors, a 2 wire transmitter can be incorporated into the main body eliminating the requirement for a terminal head. This transmitter or plug assembly can suit most temperature probes manufactured by Temperature Controls. The Triclover or BSM caps are welded both sides to 316 Stainless Steel bar or tube and are machined / polished to a finish that exceeds the minimum 0.4 um surface finish required. Optional Electro polish available at extra cost. The wetted process surfaces are free of pits, crevices and weld pockets to prevent corrosion and bacteria growth.
