International Mountain Day<br />
In occasion of the International Mountain Day, celebrated on<br />
December 11, a seminar titled “The Talents and Technologies<br />
of the Mountains” was held at the Pordoi Pass, in the Italian<br />
Alps. The meeting focused on the use of new technologies<br />
and innovations in culture and science with relevance to<br />
mountain environments. The <strong>Ev</strong>-<strong>K2</strong>-<strong>CNR</strong> Committee participated<br />
actively in the event. Dr. Gianni Tartari, President of<br />
the <strong>Ev</strong>-<strong>K2</strong>-<strong>CNR</strong> Committee Scientific Council, presented the<br />
activities, projects and perspectives of the Pyramid<br />
Laboratory-Observatory and the ABC-Pyramid climate and<br />
atmospheric pollution monitoring station, in Nepal. A videoconference<br />
was also held with Pyramid International<br />
Laboratory-Observatory, where Dr. Martino Nicoletti,<br />
Coordinator of the “Anthropological Sciences” sector of the<br />
<strong>Ev</strong>-<strong>K2</strong>-<strong>CNR</strong> Committee, was working.<br />
