Key Recommendations for the Programme and Plan of Action • Outcome 4.1 Preparedness, response and mitigation capacity (technical and managerial) is enhanced among public, private and civil sector entities for local level management and response Output 1‐ In‐country capacity to formulate and analyse adaptation policy options is built Suggested Activity • Conduct Capacity Assessments which will assess the existing capacity and needs of countries. • Identify existent projects and measures in place to advance the Output would aid in resource allocation and identification. Output 2‐ Multi‐sectoral adaptation strategies are developed and implemented and provide inputs to the development of adaptation strategies and vulnerability and risk assessment studies Suggested Activity • Conduct an assessment of the work being done by various sectors. Output 3 Sub Regional Disaster Emergency Response Operational Units CDEMA’s Output 3‐ Sub‐ Regional Disaster Emergency Response Operational Units CDEMAs are strengthened for enhanced response coordination
