openings where you can help. There is room for everyone! Serving<br />

lunch is easy, fun and doesn’t take much time!<br />

You can volunteer as much or as little as you would like and every<br />

little bit helps. The schedule is flexible and you can choose to<br />

volunteer weekly, monthly, or occasionally. We are also in need of<br />

substitute volunteers who can fill in at a moment’s notice.<br />

The obligation to serve lunch is only from 10:35 a.m. to Noon.<br />

handbells were developed,<br />

SATURDAY CHOIR<br />

For those who regularly attend the 5:00 p.m. Mass on Saturdays,<br />

we are hoping to get a new choir started that will lead us in our<br />

sung prayer at this Mass, two Saturdays per month. The only<br />

rehearsals will be an hour before Mass at 4:00 p.m. on the<br />

Saturdays we sing. The first rehearsal and Mass will be Saturday,<br />

September 21. All men and women and high school youth are<br />

PARISH CHILDREN’S CHOIR BEGINS<br />

Our Parish Children’s Choir will begin the new season on<br />

Wednesday, September 11, from 3:10 p.m.—4:00 p.m. in the<br />

Church. The Parish Children’s Choir meets most Wednesdays<br />

from September through April and sings for a weekend Mass<br />

usually once per month as well as on Christmas Eve.<br />

Children in the 2nd through 6th grades who are home schooled,<br />

from St. Charles School, and from other schools are welcome.<br />

Schedule Reminder: As our nation celebrates Labor Day this<br />

weekend, there are NO SCRIP SALES. If you have an order, feel<br />

free to drop it in the collection basket, it will be filled on Tuesday<br />

and available after 2:00 p.m.<br />

• With no school on Monday, school orders will be collected and<br />

filled on Tuesday.<br />

Now that school is in session, Friday morning sales are from 8:00<br />

a.m.-9:00 a.m. in the Hession Center. If there is no school on a<br />

Friday, sales take place on Thursday. Please watch the bulletin for<br />
