KEY PASSAGE: As Jesus drew near to the gate of the
city, a man who had died was being carried out, the only
son of his mother, and she was a widow. A large crowd
from the city was with her. When the Lord saw her, he was
moved with pity for her and said to her, “Do not weep.”
Adult: What might a greater sense of compassion allow
you to do for someone this week?
Child: When did you try to understand what another
person was feeling?

BISHOP DWENGER SAINTS OPEN GOLF OUTING
We invite all alumni, parents and friends of Bishop Dwenger High
School to join us for the 18th Annual Saints Open Golf Outing at

THE CONRAD CIERNIAK MEMORIAL FUND
FOR CANCER RESEARCH
Conrad Cierniak was a member of St. Charles Parish
and coached St. Charles basketball for many years. He
died in December, 2009 after a long battle with cancer.
His family and friends have founded the Conrad
Cierniak Memorial Fund in his honor to help fight the battle
against cancer.
MARK YOUR CALENDARS: On Sunday, September 8, the
Third Annual Conrad Cierniak Memorial Golf Outing will be
held at Chestnut Hills Golf Course on Illinois Rd, F.W. The day
will start with a lunch at 11:00 a.m., followed by a Florida
Scramble with shotgun start at 12:00 noon. Entry fee is $75 per
golfer.

FORT WAYNE CHILDREN’S CHOIR (FWCC)
FWCC is currently enrolling children in its seven choirs. The
FWCC Artistic Director, Mr. Jonathan Busarow, has adopted a
policy that welcomes all children that love to sing or want to learn
to sing!
All children must participate in a no obligation placement session,
not to be confused with an audition. As a tuition-based
organization we are sensitive to cost. FWCC offers tuition
participation assistance to qualifying families.
Placement dates are in June & July. They are as follows:
