which may be used for this purpose. Those who have the<br />
financial means and those who have raised their children, but<br />

school year, 2013-2014, over $140,000 will be used to help<br />

recipient of the Karen Koors Achievement Award, which is a<br />
monetary scholarship, presented in memory of Mrs. Karen Koors,<br />
a very kindhearted parishioner who worked as a longtime teacher’s<br />
helper in our school’s primary grades until becoming ill with cancer.<br />
In her memory, her husband, Edmund, has e<strong>st</strong>ablished the<br />
achievement award given annually to one of our second grade<br />
<strong>st</strong>udents who has demon<strong>st</strong>rated a “Jesus attitude” along with solid<br />
