fellow community educators for their achievements.<br />
Granting these annual awards for significant contributions<br />
to the field is one of the ways <strong>NCEA</strong> encourages<br />
the development, expansion, and promotion of<br />
<strong>Community</strong> <strong>Education</strong>. This is an event you won’t<br />
want to miss—and don’t forget to join us afterwards<br />

Enjoy Texas-style hospitality! Plans for the 43rd <strong>Annual</strong><br />
<strong>NCEA</strong> Conference in Dallas, Texas will be unveiled for<br />
2008. Then, join the National Council for State <strong>Community</strong><br />
<strong>Education</strong> <strong>Association</strong>s (NCSCEA) for the annual<br />
Silent Auction! Your holiday shopping awaits, so come prepared<br />
to bid. Gift baskets, certificates, and other outstanding<br />
items will be available, so come prepared to shop!<br />

Friday Night “On the Town or At the Mall”<br />
Friday night features free time to explore the Minneapolis<br />
night life. You can even ride the light rail to<br />
the Mall of America for an evening of shopping at the<br />
country’s largest indoor mall.<br />
The “Friendly Flakes” will host dinner<br />
parties at local restaurants or a variety<br />
of pub crawls for those who would prefer<br />
pub grub and mixing it up with the locals. Sign up at the<br />
Warming House.<br />
Designated Late Night<br />
Gathering Place for Each Night<br />
There are so many options to choose from in downtown<br />
Minneapolis. One, late-night location will be<br />
designated for each night to provide the group with<br />
a place to gather. Join other <strong>NCEA</strong> members as we<br />
