• In December the trading of the
173,073,730 common registered shares
of the Company HELLENIC
INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT
BANK S.A. ceased and they were
erased from the ATHEX Electronic
Board of Transactions, due to the
merger of the Company with
PIRAEUS BANK S.A.
• ATLANTIC SUPER MARKET
S.A. acquired the non-listed company
GALINOS G. LAOUTARIS S.A.
realising a share capital increase of
euro 1.6 million.
• Following a public proposal for the
acquisition of the 25.05% of the share
capital of the Company VODAFONE-
PANAFON S.A. listed under the
“telecommunications” sector of the
Athens Exchange, the Company
VODAFONE GROUP plc, based in

Great Britain, succeeded in acquiring
the 98.228% of the share capital of the
former Company. Consequently, in
January 2004, the shares of
VODAFONE-PANAFON S.A. were
transferred to Market B of “Low
Liquidity”.
• The President of the Exchange
published an article describing the
positive actions realised during the
current year (application of the
International Accounting Standards,
strengthening of the legislation
framework for the capital markets,
compilation of the Athens Exchange
with the course of the European
financial markets) and expressed his
certainty about the continuous positive
course of the Greek capital market in
2004.
• The capital raised following the
new listings on the Athens Exchange
amounted to 115.22 million euros,
while the share capital increases of
already listed companies during 2003
totalled 1.8 billion euros.
