4.1.7 The ATHEX Composite Index
of Parallel Market
The index of the Parallel Market
includes the first 40 most highly
capitalised shares of the parallel
market. It also solely calculated and
managed by ATHEX.
4.1.8 The ATHEX High Velocity
Index
The aim of this index was to capture
trends between of those shares that
accomplish a higher level of liquidity
on a daily basis. The calculation of this
index encompasses the trading value
weighted by velocity and free float of
its constituents.
4.1.9 The ATHEX Sector indices
There are eighteen sector indices that
are also calculated on a daily basis by
ATHEX. Sector indices reveal trends
within the individual sectors of the
market. The sector index must include
at least five companies whose
capitalisation is at least equal to 1% of
the market value of the Exchange. A
sector index may also be eligible when

there are at least three companies
whose capitalisation exceeds 3% of the
market value of the Exchange. The
number of shares making up a sector
index must correspond to at least 65%
of the sector's capitalisation.
4.2 Total return indices

Composite
Market
Index of the Main
This index calculates the total
performance of the Composite Price
Index of the Main Market,
presupposing the reinvestment of the
dividends of shares participating in the
Composite Index on the date of
dividend cut off.
4.2.2 The ATHEX Total Return
Composite Index of the Parallel
Market
This index calculates the total
performance of the Composite Price
Index of the Parallel Market
presupposing the reinvestment of the
dividends of shares participating in the
parallel market index on the date of
dividend cut off.
