Weakened by carpenter ants, the wood crucifix at
Meribah was destroyed last year by a falling branch.
It was recently replaced by this glass and steel crucifix
by artist Ian Rieger, a gift from Kellenberg Memorial
H.S. for Chaminade’s 75th anniversary. Mr. Rieger is
pictured above (second from left) with his wife after
the blessing of the crucifix on Memorial Day. Also

enforcement have formed a new association
and they held their first event, a cocktail
party at the Wantagh Inn on May 11,
