Attached are pictures of the package for the positive chicken sample. The chicken isolate was pattern 0122
and the patient had pattern 0041. Unfortunately, all 3 packages were open and the specific package the patient had
chicken from prior to illness onset could not be determined.
FDB, please correct me if any of the information above is inaccurate.

CDC is planning a web update this week (could be as early as tomorrow). If we decide to move forward with a recall,
CDC will likely wait until after the recall before doing the web update.
