The exceptional operating costs during the year ended 31 March 2003 arose from the transfer of US library development from Minneapolis to
Colorado Springs, principally comprising employment related severance costs.
The exceptional operating costs during the year ended 31 March 2002 arose from the transfer of US library manufacturing from Minneapolis to
Colorado Springs, principally comprising employment related transition and relocation costs. The bad debt charge arose from the bankruptcy of
Toolex International NV.
