The 8th Annual Arbor Acres
Billiards Tournament
Wednesday, June 13 - Friday, June 15
2:00 - 5:00 pm
Pool Table beside Fellowship Hall
The hushed crowd watches each player as he or
she stares intently at the table. Finally, the player
takes aim and, with a gentle tap, sends the eight
ball to the corner pocket. Rolling slowly, the ball
reaches the edge, falters, then, miraculously,
drops in. The crowd roars. The player, stunned,
lifts his arms into the air and gives a jubilant shout.
Hugs and laughter follow. And with that, the winner
of the 2012 Arbor Acres Billiards Tournament
is crowned! Will Sam Zachary threepeat? Will Sam
Gorlick, last year’s runner-up, come through? Will
Dick Stockton surprise us all and triumph? Or will
you be the grand champion?
The tournament is open to all, no matter your
experience or lack thereof. Participants will receive
a handicap based on skill level. Frank Tullos,
a professional pool player, will officiate at the
tournament. He’ll also treat us to demonstrations
of his crackerjack pool shooting talent. For more

Volunteers Needed for
Asbury Place
Receptionist
Saturdays and Sundays,
10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Can be 2-hour shifts:
10 - noon; noon - 2 pm; 2 - 4 pm;
and some weeknight evenings, 6 - 8 pm.
Greet visitors, direct residents and guests, answer
the telephone and visit with residents.
Dining Room Hostess
Monday - Friday
Lunch (noon - 1:30 pm)
Dinner (5:00 - 6:30 pm)
Help direct and seat residents;
store and retrieve walkers.
