STUDENT GROUP MEETING ROOM REQUEST FORM<br />

ROOM SET-UP and STAGING DEADLINES<br />
All requests for room set-up and staging, should be submitted and confirmed at least two weeks prior to the event date. To learn<br />

AUDIO-VISUAL DEADLINES<br />
All requests for Audio-Visual Support should be submitted at least two weeks before event date. Please note that depending<br />
upon complexity, <strong>Hart</strong> <strong>House</strong> Events and Catering may schedule a <strong>House</strong> Technician to oversee your event. To learn more<br />

<strong>Hart</strong> <strong>House</strong> Catering<br />
The <strong>Hart</strong> <strong>House</strong> Events and Catering Office provides a complete event management service, including menu options and assistance<br />
with selection and budgeting. To learn more please phone (416.978.2449) or email ( events.harthouse@utoronto.ca ), to<br />
speak with one or our event coordinators.<br />
Sammy’s Student Exchange (Pick-Up or Drop-Off)<br />
Student groups may arrange for food service from Sammy’s Student Exchange.<br />
• This service is only available for groups with under 25 guests<br />
• Catering service must also be less than $300.00<br />
• Catering may only be picked-up from Sammy’s or dropped-off by Sammy’s (to your meeting room, with no food service staff<br />
provided)<br />
• Sammy’s may provide a discount on selected menu items for small events in <strong>Hart</strong> <strong>House</strong><br />

Restaurant Delivery (from fast food restaurants only)<br />
Small group meetings may order food from some restaurants (ie. pizza parlours, Swiss Chalet, etc) for delivery to the meeting<br />
room(s). A representative from the student group must make the order from the courtesy phone at the HUB, and leave a piece of<br />
valid identification (Student Card) with the HUB for the duration of the meeting. Upon delivery, the delivery person will be directed<br />
to the meeting room for payment. The student group must ensure that all food and beverage containers are properly disposed<br />
of at the end of their meeting (Failure to properly dispose of waste and recyclables may result in future refusals by <strong>Hart</strong><br />
<strong>House</strong>, to accept booking requests).<br />
• This option is available for meetings of 50 or less guests<br />
• Delivery is limited to local restaurants (specialty catering companies are not permitted)<br />
Bring Your Own<br />
Individuals may bring their own snacks and refreshments to meetings. Individuals are not permitted to bring food or beverages<br />
for distribution to other guests, in the meeting. Please ensure all waste and recyclables are disposed of properly at the end of the<br />
meeting (failure to properly dispose of waste and recyclables may result in future refusals by <strong>Hart</strong> <strong>House</strong>, to accept booking requests).<br />
(Applicable sales taxes and services charges will be added)
