The <strong>2013</strong>/<strong>2014</strong> StudentFestival SeasonU of T Drama FestivalFeb. 12–15, <strong>2014</strong>The U of T Drama Festival is a showcase of thepromising theatrical talent at U of T that featuresworks written, directed, produced and performed bystudents. Over the course of four nights, students fromall three campuses compete in one-act plays for fivehighly coveted awards. Now in the 22nd year sinceits revival in 1993, the historic U of T Drama Festivalprovides a much-needed outlet for U of T playwrightsand for students to perform on the legendary <strong>Hart</strong><strong>House</strong> <strong>Theatre</strong> stage.U of T Festival of DanceMar. 28–29, <strong>2014</strong>Proudly hosted by <strong>Hart</strong> <strong>House</strong> <strong>Theatre</strong>, the 19thannual Festival of Dance is Canada’s largest universitydance festival. Over the course of two evenings,more than 200 student performers from all three Uof T campuses will unite in over 60 different diversedance pieces from all around the world, representingthe health and diversity of dance on campus. Eachevening features an impressive variety of dance formsincluding jazz, ballet, ballroom, modern, contactimprov, hip hop, musical theatre, Egyptian bellydancing, Chinese, Persian, Irish, latin, Middle Easternfolk and “Bollywood” dancing.
