The Abatement Tech. CAP500 central
air purifier is designed for duct mounting
through a one-inch hole and three
pilot holes for mounting screws. It

Electric components are sealed from
dust and tampering. An interlock
switch disconnects the lamp when the
cover is opened.

centre that self-balances and can dehumidify
up 20 percent more than a conventional
system, the manufacturer
reports. KoolDuct main plenum and air

Broan-Nutone QTXEN fans and fanlights
for bathrooms and powder rooms

watt fluorescent
bulb and four
watt nightlight.
Four-inch duct QTREN models are also
available and operate at 1.0 to 1.5 sones.

Heat recovery ventilators
The Nutech Lifebreath HRV line features
seven models with airflows from 89 cfm
to 265 cfm at .1 Wg or 25 Pa. They are 79
to 87% efficient at -25°C. Features
include a recirculating defrost system on
four models and a damper on two. All
models are single-phase five-speed.
