of yourself, take care of yourself, you’ll think much
more clearly. Even hardened criminals in prison are
given good nutrition and exercise. So we owe it to
ourselves and God to take care of the precious body
temple He’s given us.
• Stay in the Word, memorize your favorite Scriptures.
Write them down, carry them with you.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-22 says:
Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every
thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in
Christ Jesus concerning you. Quench not the
Spirit. Despise not prophesyings. Prove all things;
hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all
appearance of evil. And the very God of peace
sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole
spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless
unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
• Rely on His strength, not your own. His grace is
sufficient.
• Don’t give in to depression, discouragement, apathy.

heavenly Father wants you (and all His children) to
live happy, meaningful lives.
