They can be viewed on a computer, whiteboard or mobile device. For students, eBooks allow access to content anywhere whilst reducing the weight of their book bag. For teachers, not only are eBooks easy to use, they provide a great way to keep the class engaged as a group and independently. Annotations and notes can be added to every page so that an eBook can become a living document that is built on. CD/DVD-ROMs Schools without internet access can still enjoy the interactive aspects of our top digital programmes. The content delivered on CD or DVD also offers an engaging environment for students. With videos, audio and animations offered, they provide the same rich experiences as online resources but without the need for internet. They are a great first step for teachers looking to add some digital learning to the classroom. Technical requirements: Computer. No internet required. Apps An app (application) is a piece of software that can be run on a computer or mobile device with an internet connection. Many apps once downloaded can be run offline without an internet connection. We offer apps for both teachers and students. Our teacher apps enhance instruction and enable teachers to be more responsive to individual student needs while teaching. Our student apps are perfect for today’s digital natives. They offer a range of fun preparation and practice support through videos, games and assessment to enhance independent learning and for extra practice at home. Parent Participation/Home Learning CD and Internet based resources such as eBooks and apps can be used to support home learning, providing extra practice and homework.
