the effects of liberal arts preparation on effective teachers.<br />
1992 - Commonwealth Center for the Education of Teachers Grant to support case study<br />
research of <strong>Randolph</strong>- <strong>Macon</strong> <strong>College</strong> graduates teaching in local school system.<br />
1993 - Commonwealth Center for the Education of Teachers Case Study Mini-grant Award<br />
1995 - William Craigie Teaching Endowment Grant to develop model for collaboration between<br />
teacher preparation faculty, schools, and historical sites.<br />
1997 - <strong>Randolph</strong>-<strong>Macon</strong> <strong>College</strong> Technology Initiative Award to develop technology training<br />

2000 - Awarded VFIC Tech Buddy Grant. Grant to work with R-MC student Deverick Strand to<br />
create instructional website for differentiated instruction. Website incorporated into coursework<br />
for Education 322-Educatinal Psychology Field Work.<br />
2002 - William Craigie Teaching Endowment Grant with Dr. B. Gilman to pilot a web-based<br />
program in preparation of future teachers<br />
2003 - Higgins Fellow Appointment at R-MC for three year term. Member of appointed faculty<br />
group to promote and encourage effective college instruction.
