1. Jacket worn by Jacob M. West of Germantown, a member of <strong>the</strong> band of<br />

Collis Zoaves, ca 1860—1865. Had red wool pants with dark blue wool<br />

stripes on outside seams. Poor condition from insect damage but could be<br />

exhibited. Band composed of Germantown residents; once all its members<br />

taken prisoner by <strong>the</strong> Confeder<strong>at</strong>es. West lived till 1907 CW6345.A&B<br />

2. Navy blue waist length jacket with red trim around collar. <strong>Civil</strong> <strong>War</strong><br />

uniform CW6200.<br />

3. <strong>Civil</strong> <strong>War</strong> Drum red painted rims with gold flower and leaf motif. Panel<br />

painted blue with brown eagle. Inscribed Lafayette Guards 1993.255<br />

4. CW Artillery Shell 1993.543 (<strong>the</strong>re are o<strong>the</strong>rs in collection)<br />

5. CW Hollow Bullet shaped top with hole for threading. 1993.54<br />
