Support for Learners We promote equality and we support our <strong>learner</strong>s by: • offering local provision in different settings, day and evening, and distance learning courses • providing information and advice before, during and after your learning • discussion of your learning needs to find out your starting points • reduced fees for those in receipt of some benefits • advice about childcare for daytime courses • help with essential skills - using computers, literacy, numeracy, language and study • a variety of ways for you to learn e.g. informally without qualifications, or with qualifications • challenging discrimination Learner Support Funds (for <strong>learner</strong>s on certain benefits) You may be able to apply for help with course/exam fees, childcare, transport, books/materials.
