BIOGRAPHIES:DANCERS- Elisabeth ConnorOriginally from Darlington,Elisabeth took part in theDance City Linbury andAcademy programmes andtoured with the NorthernYouth Dance Company. Shethen trained at NSCD, graduating with a BPA(Hons) in Contemporary Dance. Majoring inChoreography, her work has been performed atshowcases in Leeds and York. Elisabeth hasworked with choreographers including HenriettaHale, Neville Campbell and Andile Sotiya.- Natalie Duffield MooreOriginally from Leicestershire,Natalie trained with the RoyalBallet Senior Associates2005-06 before going toRambert School of Ballet andContemporary Dance,graduating with a first class degree in 2009. Herperformance experience includes working withRambert Dance Company on A Linha Curva byItzik Galili and Stand and Stare by Darshan SinghBhuller. Natalie has also performed at the LinburyStudio Theatre at the Royal Opera House.- Joelle GreenJoelle began dancing withMomentum at the Ariel Centrein Totnes, Devon. She wenton to train at NSCD, receivingthe outstanding achievementaward in her final year. AtNSCD she worked with choreographers HenriettaHale, Kwesi Johnson, Gavin Coward and KateJackson, and assisted Wendy Houstoun with herintergenerational commission "Dancing in Time".Joelle majored in dance education and made asite-specific dance film with local A-levelstudents.- Robert Goodby (Rehearsal Assistant/Dancer)Growing up near BirminghamRob started dancing atsecondary school beforejoining youth dance companyMomentum, and completing aBTEC National Diploma inDance at Halesown College. Whilst training atNSCD Rob participated in Shobana Jeyasinghand Hofesh Shechter company workshops andworked with choreographers Anna Williams andHagit Bar. He performed at the School’s 21 stBirthday Gala event and graduated in 2008 with aBPA (Hons) in Contemporary Dance. As a dancerwith Verve 2009 Rob performed works by FilipVan Huffel, Glenn Wilkinson, Milan Kozánek,Jennifer-Lynn Crawford and Leanne Pike. Aftergaining his Postgraduate Diploma inContemporary Dance, Rob joins Verve 2010 asRehearsal Assistant/Dancer.- Elina KarimaaElina graduated from theFinnish National Opera BalletSchool in 2004. During thistime she worked with TommiKitti and performed in theFinnish National Ballet'sproduction Raymonda. She has worked withDance Theatre Raatikko, touring "KurkistaKulisseihin" by Marja Korhola, in Finland. In 2008Elina moved to England to study at NSCD. Insummer 2009 she completed a BSc inEnvironmental Science and Policy from theUniversity of Helsinki.- Janice KeithOriginally from Peterhead,Scotland, Janice spent eightyears of her childhood as acompetitive rhythmic gymnast,also competing andperforming as a highlanddancer in the Edinburgh Tattoo and inSwitzerland. Joining Elevate Youth DanceCompany in Aberdeen led her to train at theScottish School of Contemporary Dance. Shecompleted her degree at NSCD, where sheworked with Kwesi Johnson and Henrietta Hale.- David MichelOriginally from Winchester,David began dancing at alocal theatre. In 2009 hegained a BPA (Hons) degreein Contemporary Dance fromNSCD. Whilst at NSCD heparticipated in workshops with Richard Alston andcompany residencies with Shobana Jeyasinghand Hofesh Shechter. He also worked withchoreographers Kwesi Johnson and AntoniaGrove and performed in numerous studentchoreographies and platforms, including theLaban showcase.13
