Year 8 Netball TeamAfter almost a term of training, the Year 8 Netball team finally playedtheir first match on the 29 th November against St. Benedict’s. It was anexcellent game with superb shooting and brilliant interceptions fromour players. Littleover won 11 - 3 and are now looking forward toJanuary for their next game and we have high expectations! A specialmention goes to Amy Reynolds (8SSM) who really was an outstandingexample of a ‘team’ player.Miss N Youseman – Teacher of MathsGIRLS’ FOOTBALLThe Year 7 girls’ football team has played a number of tournaments inthe last two weeks and the results have been excellent.At the JJB Soccerdome on the 29th November, Year 7, along with twoYear 8 pupils played 6 games. They won three, drew two and lost one.This meant that they just missed out on the next round, but we workedout that they came in fourteenth place out of the forty-two schools thatentered the tournament.Well done to all the girls for a fantastic performance and for suchexemplary behaviour throughout the day.23
