8.2 Recommended levels of awareness <strong>and</strong> trainingWithin the club environment everyone has a responsibility to be aware of the <strong>Safeguarding</strong> & <strong>Protecting</strong> <strong>Vulnerable</strong> <strong>Adults</strong> policy, underst<strong>and</strong>what is good <strong>and</strong> poor practice <strong>and</strong> know what to do if they have a concern. All members should have access to the policy document at theclub or be made aware that it can be accessed through the <strong>British</strong> <strong>Rowing</strong> website.8.3 TrainingCoaches <strong>and</strong> volunteers may undertake the generic sports coach UK courses such as Equity in your coaching <strong>and</strong> Creating a safe coachingenvironment.
