Submit three sets of laser prints or clean photocopies in three separate envelopes. Two sets of glossy
prints should be provided for all half-toner color illustration. Figures particularly graphs, should be
designed to take as lit space as possible. Lettering should be of sufficient size to be legible after reduction
for publication. The optimal size after reduction is 9 points, the maximum width of one-column figures
is 8.5cm, of two-column figures 17.5cm.
All graphs and line drawings must be professionally prepared or done on a computer and reproduced
as hi, quality laser prints.
Tables:
Tables should be typed double spaced on separate sheets, with the table number and title centered
above the tat and explanatory notes below the tables. Abbreviations should be listed in a footnote under
the table in alphabetical order.
Reprints:
Fifty reprints of articles are provided gratis to the authors. Additional reprints can be supplied if
application is made at the time of printing. Colored photographs could be published at a rate of L.E. 100
for each page.
Fees:
A fee of LE 300 for members of the Egyptian Society of Cardiology and L.E. 500 for non-members,
against receipt, for consideration of articles for publication must accompany each article before it can
be sent to the reference for acceptance.
