<strong>How</strong> <strong>can</strong> I <strong>help</strong>??The Celebration Auction could not be sustained without <strong>the</strong> countless parents, alumni,and friends of Badin that lend a <strong>help</strong>ing hand. Volunteers are needed to ass<strong>is</strong>t wi<strong>the</strong>verything from serving on a committee, to addressing invitations to setting up <strong>the</strong> daysbefore <strong>the</strong> event! Volunteering at <strong>the</strong> Badin Celebration <strong>is</strong> a great opportunity to meetnew people and make a BIG difference in <strong>the</strong> Badin Community! There <strong>is</strong> a way foreveryone to <strong>help</strong>! <strong>Here</strong> are just a few ways <strong>you</strong> <strong>can</strong> be involved: Be a part of <strong>the</strong> Celebration committee Ask companies, retail establ<strong>is</strong>hments, restaurants, spa/salons that <strong>you</strong> do businesswith to donate or become a sponsor of <strong>the</strong> event. Ask <strong>you</strong>r family and friends todonate! Become a table captain! Ask 7 of <strong>you</strong>r friends to join <strong>you</strong> at a table at <strong>the</strong> event! Show <strong>you</strong>r creative side!! Help with decorations or set-up for <strong>the</strong> events. Dads withbuddies are always welcomed and needed!! Address invitations to <strong>the</strong> Celebration Auction! Join us <strong>the</strong> night of <strong>the</strong> event. Come as a guest or a volunteer! Your presence <strong>is</strong> awelcomed gift!<strong>Still</strong> don’t <strong>think</strong> <strong>you</strong> <strong>have</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>time</strong>? <strong>Here</strong> <strong>is</strong> a sample of what <strong>you</strong> <strong>can</strong>do no matter what <strong>time</strong> <strong>you</strong> <strong>can</strong> invest!If <strong>you</strong> just <strong>have</strong> 30 minutes:• Ass<strong>is</strong>t with a mailing• Pick up donations close to home or work• Make follow-up phone callsIf <strong>you</strong> <strong>have</strong> an hour:• Write catalog copy (great for those creative minds!!)• Make follow-up calls• Attend a sports team’s gift ga<strong>the</strong>ring party
